Caedmon (he/they), which means wise warrior in Gaelic, is a non-binary trans man who has decades of experience with the LGBTQ+ community as a member, a spiritual leader, hospital chaplain and advocate. They have 4 years experience with the LGBTQ+ workforce of Fortune 500 companies as a Senior Member Care Advocate and works with clients such as Google, Apple, State Farm, Wells Fargo, and Walmart. Not everyone works for a corporation who pays for these services for their employees but everyone deserves support in navigating care, understanding options and advocating for coverage. So many people asked if this service was available for them and after saying, 'unfortunately not' too many times, Caedmon decided to launch a private practice and avail his expertise to individuals, families and organizations. As an ordained minister and interfaith chaplain for over 16 years, he has deep committments to spiritually informed life decision making and can companion you on your healthcare journey. This opportunity expands concierge healthcare service to allow space for spirituality to inform your experience. We can engage your values, beliefs, rituals and ethics in navigating your healthcare journey. Wise Warrior is a trusted expert, fierce advocate and deeply grounded companion. They survived a catastrophic motorcyle accident which required learning to walk again and gave him a first hand personal experience with the systems and impact of navigating it all while LGBTQ+.
He has lived and worked in California, Nebraska, Vermont and Tennesse and attended the 1st ever Transgender March on Washington.
Our Mission
Wise Warrior Health Equity Consulting is dedicated to creating spiritually informed pathways of care for LGBTQ+ individuals, families, places of worship and communities. We aim to circumvent systemic barriers while expanding LGBTQ+ healthcare literacy through a network of affirming providers and resources nationwide.

Harnessing our expertise in concierge healthcare navigation Wise Warrior connects the LGBTQ+ community to vetted providers who are affirming and culturally competent in the needs of LGBTQ+ bodies and lives. We equip LGBTQ+ people with insight and guidance in understanding and maximizing covered insurance benefits for gender affirming care, family planning/fertility benefits, and end of life planning. We work with groups, congregations and community organizations to get our expertise into the hands of folks who care about their healthcare and bodies.
